This event will be a half day event, from approximately 9.30am to 1.00pm and will be held in the Auditorium, Education and Conference Centre, Westmead Hospital.
This event is free for the women and their families and will be a partnership with Community Migrant Resource Centre.
With the financial assistance, two to three guest speakers can be contacted to give presentations about coping with changes after childbirth, family-related issues, settlement related stresses, increasing awareness of issues related to mental health and wellbeing, services available and opportunities to network.
The relevant organisations will be invited to have stalls to further inform women about their services. Interpreters will be provided if need for language assistance is identified. There will be morning tea and lunch available. Evaluations will be conducted.
